I've never actually used gimp, but I seen what other people that made with it, so I know it's an opinion.  Plus a lot of ps things can translate to gimp.  I've been using paint shop pro since I was 13 so I don't want to give it up.

Oh, well you should try it some time!!! It has so many options! I have been using it for about 2 years... and still feel like I have so much to learn about it!

I've used pixlr advanced editor to do manips  and photo shop is much more powerful. It's good if you're just doing a edit of a photo or slapping text on a picture, but not if you want to do a full on manipulation beyond combing two images or digital painting. I primarily recommend it for people who want to edit their photos and don't have the budget for photoshop elements or paint shop pro.

It's not pressure sensitive when I used my stylus with it, which sucked. And it's not compatible with abr files like gimp, so you can't load new brushes that you find on DeviantART which is a big problem for me. Also it is not compatible with actions for photoediting. Aaaaand you have to have internet to use it. Since it's not a download, it's hard to use without internet.  I can use my copy of gimp or Photoshop elements without having internet if I'm on the bus or train or somewhere that's a dead spot or I don't trust the wifi or can't access it.

Even if it can't be compared to Photoshop, the concept of an on-line software is interesting. Thank you for sharing.

Sounds good... But can it manipulate text? If it can, I'll try it out. Thank you for sharing. :) (Smile)

Looks promising for basic editing, I tried it with my Wacom Bamboo and I couldn't use it too well.

Anywhay, thanks for sharing, it's great to have another alternative to Photoshop and Gimp

It should work then with your tablet, but it's not pressure sensitive. You have a lot of other feature though. :D
